Comment on the Fafsa post
Lauren got accepted to Johnson & Wales College in Charlotte. She has always spoken of becoming a chef, and has taken culinary arts in school for 2-3 years now. She really is not an "academic" type..but I hope since she loves this subject that she will excel. I know one thing for sure--her mother LOVES to eat good food and boy would I like it if someone cooked for me in my "old age" :) LOL.

That is so exciting. My cousin went to J&W, but to the one in Rhode Island I believe. He is now the executive chief at a resort in Hilton Head Island and loves every bit of it.
ReplyDeleteThat is great news. My husband has been talking about attending culinary school for the past few months. He does the cooking around our heouse partly because I hate to cook and partly because I am barely home long enough to cook and eat. Most of my days are spent at work or internship and then hitting the books when I get home. He has been trying out new dishes for the past few months...I think he enjoys mixing things together and seeing how they taste. There has only been one disaster so far so I think he is doing great.
